Sector Spotlight: Bouncing Bonds and Intraday RRGs

This edition of StockCharts TV’s Sector Spotlight marks an important milestone in the life of RRG on StockCharts.com. Following many user requests, the latest release of new functionalities and improvements (Bainbridge) of the website includes the support for intraday time frames on Relative Rotation Graphs. This addition should make RRGs an even more interesting and useful tool for short-term traders, as you will be able to see the rotation in various universes unfold during the trading day.

In my overview of rotations in asset classes, I highlight the possibility for a significant bounce in the bond markets and its potential effects of the stock/bond ratio. The rotation to growth sectors is still ongoing, but a look at the RRGs, in combination with the price charts, suggest that this is still a temporary move for now.
