Sector Spotlight: Money Moving Back to XLY and Bitcoin

In this week’s edition of StockCharts TV’s Sector Spotlight, I start with an overview of the current asset class rotation, using daily and weekly Relative Rotation Graphs. In this segment, I replace VNQ (real estate) with BTC, which better represents the asset class landscape, as Real Estate is already present in the universe of SPDR sector ETFs (which is regularly covered) and BTC/Crypto is on more and more people’s radar for possible investments. Then, in the Sector Rotation segment, I highlight the improvement for the Consumer Discretionary sector, as well as the continued loss of relative strength for the defensive sectors.

Sector Spotlight airs weekly on Tuesdays at 10:30-11:00am ET. Past episodes can be found here.
