More Pro-Russian Ukrainian Officials Killed in Explosions

Husband and wife Oleg and Lyudmila Boyko were allegedly killed in an explosion close to their home today. Lyudmila was the head of the election commission in Berdyansk, Ukraine leading Putin’s referendum for those in occupied Ukraine to vote on joining the Russian Federation. Her husband Oleg was a senior official in the Russian-installed local government.

LPR “prosecutor general” Sergey Gorenko was also reportedly killed after an explosion at the prosecutor general’s office.

Novaya Gazeta, Europe reports:

An explosion was reported at the “prosecutor general’s office” building in the self-proclaimed Luhansk “people’s republic” (“LPR”), Russian news agency Interfax writes.

“LPR prosecutor general” Sergey Gorenko was killed in the blast in Luhansk, Interfax reports, citing local emergency services. “According to preliminary information, LPR prosecutor general Sergey Gorenko died of the injuries he suffered as a result of the explosion in his office,” the agency’s source said. His deputy was also killed in the explosion, TASS writes.

Vladimir Rogov, a senior member of the Russian-appointed civil-military administration of Zaporizhzhia province shared, on Telegram:

Today, September 16, a double murder was committed in the Colonia microdistrict in Berdyansk.
Oleg Boyko, Deputy Head of the Berdyansk Military Civil Administration for housing and communal services, and his wife, Lyudmila Boyko, who headed the city’s territorial election commission for the referendum, were killed near their garage.
This terrible crime will not go unpunished and unanswered.
Investigations are underway.
The details of the incident are being specified.

The Daily Mail reports,

The woman in charge of Putin‘s ‘bogus referendum’ which would see citizens in occupied Ukraine vote on whether to join the Russian Federation was killed today in an evident sabotage attack.

Lyudmila Boyko headed the election commission in Berdyansk in the southern Zaporizhzhia region, and had been preparing to implement the Kremlin’s plans for a poll.

Lyudmila Boyko headed the election commission in Berdyansk in the southern Zaporizhzhia region, and had been preparing to implement the Kremlin’s plans for a poll.

It came as the Prosecutor General of the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic Sergey Gorenko was killed in another blast which destroyed his office and also killed his deputy, Yekaterina Steglenko.

All four victims of the deadly attacks were in their 40s.

Russia blames both explosions on operations authored by Ukrainian saboteurs.

The Gateway Pundit reported last month on the death of Darya Dugina, the daughter of Putin ally Alexander Dugin, in an explosion outside of Moscow.
