Biden asked Congress to pass a bill that would make elections ‘more transparent.’
The Senate is expected to vote on the bill this week but it doesn’t have the 60 votes needed to pass.
Reporters peppered Biden with questions about the border crisis after his remarks.

“He should come visit. We have a beautiful shoreline,” said Biden as he walked away.
