WHOOSH! Weather Reporters Nearly Get Blown Away by Hurricane Ian During Live Broadcast (VIDEO)

Hurricane Ian made landfall on Florida’s west coast on Wednesday as a category 4 storm, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The eye of the storm hit Cape Coral Wednesday with maximum sustained winds of 155 miles per hour.

During a live broadcast, two weather reporters were hammered by the strong winds of a category 4 hurricane.

Jim Cantore, a reporter for the Weather Channel, was almost blown away and hit by a flying tree branch as he tried to show how strong Hurricane Ian was.

Weather Channel anchor pleads with Jim Cantore to get off the street.

“Come on in for some cover, my man. We can have a conversation when you’re under some cover. That’s too much,” the anchor said.

Another weather reporter  Mike Seidel, got hammered during a live broadcast.

“As of the 4 p.m. advisory, Hurricane Ian was moving north-northeast at 9 mph. It was located 10 miles west-southwest of Punta Gorda, Florida, and 20 miles northwest of Fort Myers,” Wesh reported.

“The storm is expected to cause life-threatening storm surge, catastrophic winds and flooding in the Florida peninsula,” the outlet added.

Storm surge in Fort Myers, Florida is absolutely brutal right now.

Major hurricane Ian is currently equalling the 4th strongest hurricane to ever hit Florida.
