UChicago United, a woke student organization at The University of Chicago, has announced their upcoming events for the academic year. One such event, “Race @ UChicago” has made it clear….no whites allowed. The event emphasizes that the event is “A BIPOC-ONLY space.”
The group was established in spring of 2017 as a way to address a number of racist incidents that had been occuring at UChicago –including but not limited to racist Alpha Delt and DU parties, the leak of racist, Islamophobic, and misogynistic AEPi emails, Nazi flyering at the Center for Identity + Inclusion, various violent threats and harassment faced by students, and lastly, a racist party held by fraternity Phi Delta Gamma on Cinco de Mayo.
We are working to structurally transform the University of Chicago’s campus into a truly inclusive space that fits the needs of and empowers students of color. There are currently three campaigns under that fall under the UCU umbrella: #CareNotCops, #EthnicStudiesNow, and #CommunityCentersNow.”
University of Chicago student Daniel Schmidt writes,
Let’s take a step back. Are you seeing what I’m seeing? We have these students who say they want to fight racism. And yet these same students are the only students at UChicago publicly and proudly promoting racism. Why am I the only student talking about this?
Will UChicago’s student newspaper, The Chicago Maroon, write an article about this? Of course not. Its reporters are the kind who are far more concerned about a majority-white fraternity holding a “racially insensitive” party on Cinco de Mayo. Ironically, UChicago United protested that party and demanded punishment. As always, white students must know their place.

The College Fix reports that Schmidt, who wrote for the school’s student newspaper, “was terminated earlier this year after the conservative columnist publicly challenged another columnist to debate mask mandates and other COVID-related topics.”
