HILLARIOUS: More Electric Vehicle Miscues – EV Truck Maker Rivian Recalls Nearly Every Vehicle

Electric trucks are having some problems getting on the road.  Last week we saw how electric trucks take days to charge for a four-hour ride.  Today we find that one manufacturer is recalling “almost all the vehicles” they have manufactured.

The Daily Mail reported last night:

Electric truck and SUV maker Rivian Automotive is recalling almost all the vehicles over loose fasteners that could potentially affect drivers’ ability to steer.

The company, which was founded in 2009, said it is recalling about 13,000 cars because a fastener connecting the vehicles’ front upper-control arm and steering knuckle may not be torqued enough.

There have been seven reports potentially related to the issue, but no injuries have been reported, Rivian said of its third recall notice this year.

Last week we learned that it takes four days to charge some trucks for a four-hour ride.

Breitbart reported:

A YouTuber recently demonstrated that buyers of GMC’s new electric Hummer better clear their calendars if the truck is running low on battery charge. The video he produced demonstrated that when the $80,000+ electric vehicle (EV) is plugged in to a regular house outlet, it will take over four days to fully charge. A special 240-volt charger still takes a full day to charge the vehicle.

Salty Cracker had the following to say about GM trucks taking days to charge (warning language – yet hilarious and brilliant):
