Joe Rogan Humiliates Social Justice Warrior Jann Wenner

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine’s founder Jann Wenner for The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan humiliated Wenner by pointing out his ridiculous views on internet regulation and exposed his love of big government.

Wenner’s past is ripe with leftist propaganda. In 2012, Rolling Stone put a glam photo of Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on its cover claiming it was within its tradition of “serious and thoughtful coverage” of important cultural and political issues.

Wenner’s support of  liberal causes and liberal politicians includes working closely with disgraced abuser Harvey Weinstein.  In 2000, Wenner co-hosted an event with Weinstein for Al Gore’s presidential campaign.

Newbusters shared a 2017 interview of Wenner on NBC. “Well, we’ve been really – I don’t know if we’ve got ahead – we’ve been really strong on gun control, we followed that for a long time. It’s an outrage that nothing’s been done. We’ve been very strong on pot legalization, which is getting done. And now we’re involve in a – one of the leading publications to be discussing climate change.”

In the October 5th interview with Rogan, the topic of internet regulation came up and Wenner, who has built a career of “fighting the man” exposes his love of big government.

Wenner:
The Internet’s great, and I love social media, you know? But like every other industry in the United States, it has to be regulated. If you don’t regulate it.

Rogan:
But who regulates it?

Wenner:
The government.

Rogan:
Do you trust the government to regulate the internet?

Wenner:
Absolutely.

Rogan:
You trust the people that got us into the Iraq War under false pretenses to regulate the internet? Do you think that makes any sense?

Wenner:
Ahhhhhh

Rogan:
Do you think that makes any sense?

Wenner:
I would not…..the people that got us into the Iraq war…

Rogan:
It’s the government.

Wenner:
It’s the politicians.

Rogan:
It’s the government.

Wenner:
In the end yes, but who else is going to regulate it?

Rogan:
If they’re gonna be in power and they’re regulating the internet, they’re gonna regulate the internet in a way that suits their best interest. The same way they do with the banking industry, the same way they do with the environment, the same way they do with energy, the same way they do with everything.

What represents their interests? You’re talking about so much money involved in disseminating information in a very particular way.

Wenner:
The richest companies in the world are internet companies. They are rich beyond belief.

Rogan:
Yeah.  But it’s a disruptive thing that has never existed before. My… I think it exists…and where we’re at is where we’re at.

I think we need to move forward collectively as a country with an ethic that respects truth and that it appreciates opinions and reality and an understanding of things that’s not necessarily possible with corporate interest involved in dissemination of information.

Wenner:
But there’s no way to do that except through the government… There’s no way that you can do that except through the government… Human nature’s not gonna change.

Rogan:
But the government’s not gonna change either.

Wenner:
But the government is capable of change. Ok look, the government regulates, for example,  the food supply…or it can regulate…

Rogan:
The food supply?!

Wenner:
Yeah. The Department of Agriculture…

Rogan:
Why have they let (unintelligible) all of our foods?

Wenner:
Let’s…one thing at a time.
