Durham Update: Two Lower-Level FBI Officials Wanted To Investigate Russia-Connected Democrat Operative But Were Blocked By Superiors

Robert Mueller’s team of 13 angry Democrats

The FBI knew the Trump-Russia allegations were a complete hoax before Robert Mueller was ever appointed Special Counsel.

The Mueller investigation, under the direction of Andrew Weissmann, included only far-left FBI operatives intent on removing Trump from office.  There were some lower-level operatives who involved in the case who still had a conscience.

Lower-level FBI analyst Brittany Herzog and FBI supervisory special agent Amy Anderson — two FBI officials who served on Robert Mueller’s team — testified they wanted to investigate Charles Dolan, a longtime Democrat operative, over his ties to Russia and the Steele Dossier.

According to the testimony from the officials, Dolan had ties to Olga Galkina – who was a sub-source for the Steele Dossier and Dolan also did work for a PR agency that did a PR campaign for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Dolan also had a relationship with Igor Danchenko, the primary sub-source of the dossier.

Reporting to Auten who was under Mueller, she worked with various agents including Amy Anderson and Joe Nelson. Hertzog’s primary focus was on Olga Galkina; through her research on Galkina, Hertzog became familiar with Dolan…

Hertzog mentioned overseeing Russian propaganda and disinformation campaigns. She spoke of Dolan and Galkina’s business relationship, and noted that Galkina was a sub source for the Steele dossier.

They said they were told “not to take further action” by their superiors.

Further testimony from Herzog said – “I wanted to interview Dolan, his connectivity to sources and Russian government officials…Some others in the FBI didn’t want to investigate.”

Herzog said that to her knowledge Dolan was never interviewed by anyone on the special counsel team.

Fox News reported:

Two FBI officials testified on Friday that while detailed to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, they sought to investigate longtime Democratic operative Charles Dolan for his connections to Russia — specifically to Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for Russian President Vladimir Putin — but were “instructed not to take further action” by their superiors.

FBI analyst Brittany Herzog and FBI supervisory special agent Amy Anderson, who both served on Mueller’s team, testified during the trial of Igor Danchenko Friday that they pressed for further investigation into Dolan and his ties to the Kremlin and pressed higher-ups on Mueller’s team to allow them to interview him.

…

“The Danchenko-Dolan connection was important because of Dolan’s connectivity with Peskov,” Herzog testified. “I wanted to interview Dolan, his connectivity to sources and Russian government officials.”

“Some others in the FBI didn’t want to investigate,” Herzog testified. “To the best of my knowledge, no one from the special counsel team interviewed Dolan.”

Anderson said she wrote a memo calling for more of an investigation into Dolan but the memo sat for weeks.

She then testified “I was told it was not going to be opened.”

Was the Mueller team a coverup?
