Senator Rick Scott from Florida sees the GOP holding a slim margin in the Senate but believes it could be as much as a 55-seat majority.
Senator Rick Scott from Florida believes the GOP could hold a 55-seat majority in the US Senate after the upcoming 2022 elections.
The Hill reported on Senator Scott’s comments yesterday:
National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Rick Scott (Fla.) says Republicans will likely control 52 Senate seats next year and have a pathway to a 55-seat majority, given how recent polls show GOP candidates picking up momentum.
Scott is voicing a more confident view of the Nov. 8 midterm elections than Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who has predicted the battle for the Senate will be “really close either way” and that whatever party wins is likely to control a very narrow majority.
“The energy is on our side. People are fed up with the Biden agenda,” he declared to applause from a roomful of Republican activists and supporters.
A new East Carolina University poll released Tuesday showed Budd leading his Democratic opponent, former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Cheri Beasley, by 6 points. An East Carolina University poll from early September showed Budd with only a 3-point lead.
Republicans would have to run the table of Senate races and knock off Democratic incumbents in five races while protecting their vulnerable seats in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio and North Carolina in order to build a five-seat Senate majority next year.
The most vulnerable Democratic incumbents are Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada and Raphael Warnock in Georgia, followed by Sen. Mark Kelly in Arizona. After that, New Hampshire Sen. Maggie Hassan is considered next-most vulnerable, followed by Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, who is leading his Republican opponent by 6 points in a recent Marist poll.
Scott, however, thinks Washington Sen. Patty Murray (D) and Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D) might also be in trouble if the GOP wave is as big as he suspects it could be next month.
Scott, who was one of the first Senate Republicans to identify inflation as something that would become a major issue in the 2022 midterms, sees that issue — along with crime — as pushing independent women, a key swing bloc, to GOP candidates.
In an America with honest media and no threat of voter fraud, the GOP would run the Senate.
Many GOP leaders are yet unable to see this. None have spoken out about the 2020 Election and analyzed the activities and results because if they did, they would know that President Trump was the clear winner in an uncertifiable election due to so much Democrat corruption and fraud.
The lack of understanding of the potential for stealing elections embedded in the US election process is one thing. Another is that GOP Senator Mitch McConnell backs loser candidates while not supporting winners. If McConnell was for the GOP and not against President Trump and the majority of Americans that support the President and his policies, the GOP would own the Senate.
We already know that Herschel Walker is an excellent candidate in Georgia and he should sweep the incumbent communist Democrat Raphael Warnock in the very conservative state. But McConnell doesn’t like Walker because Walker is supportive of President Trump and so Walker, instead of having a wide-open field to score the win, has an entire stadium to go through to find the election end zone.
Georgia is also where perhaps the most election corruption happened in the 2020 Election. This again appears to be happening in 2022 with the anti-Trump candidates Raffensperger and Kemp somehow miraculously winning their GOP primaries. Based on this, the 2022 election results are already set and if McConnell has his way, Walker will be heading to the sidelines.
This is why it is important for everyone to get out and vote and overwhelm the corrupt system with votes for excellent candidates like Herschel Walker for Senate in Georgia.
There is hope and this may be our last hope but we will win if we work together to overcome the communists and their corruption and efforts to destroy America.
