Joe Biden on Thursday delivered remarks at a Democrat political event at the Howard Theatre in Washington, DC.
Dr. Jill and Kamala Harris joined Joe Biden on stage.
Biden got the crowd riled up by vowing to veto legislation coming from a Republican-controlled Congress if it threatens the left’s agenda.
The Republicans are expected to take the House with a slim majority after Tuesday’s midterm elections.
The senate is still a toss up.
Biden said the American people expect the Republicans to work with him.
“I’m prepared to work with Republicans. But the American people have made it clear: they expect Republicans to work with me as well. [..] If republicans try to walk away from the historic commitment we just made to deal with the climate crisis, I will not let that happen,” Biden said.
