There is a new development in the murder mystery involving four slain University of Idaho students.
According to police, two other female roommates were home during the murders of the four students.
The killer who stabbed four University of Idaho students at a rental home near campus on Sunday is still at large.
Moscow Police said they have not determined if there was one attacker or more.
The identity of the attacker(s) is still not known.
The four deceased students were identified on Monday: 20-year-old Ethan Chapin of Conway, Washington; 21-year-old Madison Mogen of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; 20-year-old Xana Kernodle of Avondale, Arizona; and 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves of Rathdrum, Idaho.
On Wednesday a newly released video taken from a Twitch livestream in front a food truck showed a mystery man near two of the slain students: Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves.
Law enforcement officers are looking to interview people caught on the Twitch stream.
Police are being tight-lipped about the investigation and walked back their claims that there is no threat to the community.
They have no suspect, no murder weapon and they are not sharing any other details about the investigation.
Moscow police on Thursday said the two other female roommates who were home during the murders are cooperating with law enforcement.
According to ABC News, the female roommates are not suspects.
Police say there was no forced entry into the home which many described as a “party house” with a lot of foot traffic.
The female roommates didn’t report the murders for 8 hours which is very odd.
