Joe Biden on Monday pardoned two turkeys as part of the White House’s annual Thanksgiving tradition.
The two North Carolina turkeys, “Chocolate” and “Chip” – coincidentally named after Joe Biden’s favorite ice cream flavor, received presidential pardons.
“Chocolate is my favorite ice cream,” Biden said.

Biden asked National Turkey Federation chairman Ronnie Parker how many turkeys are raised on the North Carolina farm.
“9.5 million turkeys! I tell ya what, that’s like some of the countries I’ve been to and they — anyway…” Biden said in another awkward exchange.
Biden then looked at the turkey: “You wanna talk?”
