Biden Insists He Learned About Merrick Garland’s Decision to Appoint a Special Counsel to Investigate Trump From News Reports

Joe Biden on Monday pardoned two turkeys as part of the White House’s annual Thanksgiving tradition.

The two North Carolina turkeys, “Chocolate” and “Chip” – coincidentally named after Joe Biden’s favorite ice cream flavor, received presidential pardons.

Biden was asked about Merrick Garland’s decision to appoint a special counsel to investigate Trump.

Joe Biden claimed he had no idea his own Attorney General was going to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate his political opponent.

He learned about it from news reports.

“I learned about it when you did,” Biden said.

No serious person believes this.

Trump last week announced his 2024 bid for the White House so Biden’s DOJ is running interference.

The special counsel investigation will focus on whether Trump broke the law when he took White House records to Mar-a-Lago and the other part of the probe is related to January 6.

If Trump gets indicted by the feds, Joe Biden can put his hands up and say he had nothing to do with indicting his opponent in the 2024 election.

Joe Biden is already pleading ignorance so it is obvious the special counsel will be a shield for Biden if his own political opponent (Trump) is indicted by his DOJ.
