Joe Biden Thursday afternoon held a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron in the East Room.
Biden earlier Thursday welcomed Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron to the White House.
Biden called the revolutionary war French General Marquis de Lafayette “Marcus de Lafayette.”
Biden held a joint press conference with Macron and called on a pre-approved list of reporters.
But first he had to crack a ‘joke’ and make an already awkward press conference even more uncomfortable.
Biden cracked a joke about having dinner with the Macrons last night.
“President Macron and I have had a chance to spend some time together. We went to private dinner last night with our wives and we just came to tell you that and we’re leaving,” Biden said.
Then he called on a pre-approved list of far-left reporters.
“Okay, who’s the next question? I got my list here,” Biden said.
“My turn?” Biden queried.
