J6 political prisoners detained in the Washington DC jail are calling on patriots to demand that DC Mayor Muriel Bowser allow them visitation, even computer visitation with their families.
Bowser has revoked visitation privileges throughout the pandemic, including remote, online visitation, from unvaccinated inmates.
Desperate to see their families after languishing in solitary confinement for nearly two years, some of the inmates complied with the vaccine mandate just to see their loved ones again for a few minutes. Despite getting the shot, they were still barred from visitors.
“Some of these political prisoners did comply and get vaccinated just to see their families and they’ve still prohibited them from visitation, so I don’t know what kind of seditious game they’re playing,” Micki Witthoeft, the mother of slain Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt previously told the Gateway Pundit. The political prisoners call into a rally hosted by Witthoeft outside the DC jail every night since August 1.
In letters to the TGP, the political prisoners describe the inhumane conditions they continue to endure in while confined in the part of the jail correction officers call the “Patriot Pod.” They are asking our readers to help them reunite with their families, even for just a few minutes on a computer screen.
Shane Jenkins is a a 45 year-old-man father of five from Texas.
“After my arrest, I was flown all over the nation and bused here and there until I ended up in Washington DC at the DC DOC on April 13, 2021. I have been here since then. I have not seen a friend, a loved one or any of my children in over 600 day,” Jenkins wrote. Typically institutions have a policy for visitation.
“The DC DOC falls under Muriel Bowers’ purview, or jurisdiction, and the director, Thomas Fause. Their policy regarding visitation is that inmates and visitors must be vaxxed and boosted to have visits. Twenty-one of the 24 men here are unvaxxed. We are all here related Jan. 6th and are from all over the nation. We are fighting the biggest fight of our lives and need the support of our family and friends.”
As the Gateway Pundit has reported, Covid vaccines do not prevent transmission of the virus.
But Bowser continues to exploit the pandemic to make life a nightmare for the inmates.
“Even with the low-level transmission here in DC, we are still forced to wear masks, if we choose not to wear a mask we must remain in our cells. The CDC has also updated its mask policy as of September 23, 2022, which includes health care facilities and hospitals, ‘people may choose to masks at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with Covid-19 should wear a mask.’ I would imagine a hospital policy should be good enough for jail,” Jenkins wrote.
If Americans pressure Bowser to adjust the tyrannical Covid policy, maybe she will do the right thing, Jenkins contends.
“We need your help! Our goal is to be able to visit with our families friends and loved ones,” he continued. “The easiest way to accomplish this would be for the Mayor’s office and the DC DOC to adjust their policy and adhere to the CDC guidance by allowing in-person visits for the unvaccinated.”
“If you would take just a few minutes today to send a few emails, make a few calls, write a few letters or do all three, you would be giving a voice to the voiceless,” Jenkins continued. “You can be a part of reuniting all of us with our families and friends. Thank you so very much for your time and efforts in advance. May God bless you all.”

Jenkins discusses this call to action in a phone call from jail with the Justice in Jeopardy podcast.
Jenkins has gathered letters from the other J6 political prisoners detailing the impact Bowser’s Covid policies have had on their mental health and their families.
“We want you to understand the pain and anguish this has caused us and our loved ones. To be denied their touch, their hugs, their smiles and their laughter is torture. We have missed birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and even funerals,” he wrote.
Peter Stager is a 43-year-old father of two.
Stager has not seen his wife or children since he was apprehended by FBI agents on January 14, 2021.
“I am married to my best friend and the love of my life for over 19 years. Together, my love and I have two children,” Stager wrote. “Since my detainment of over 600 days in multiple states and facilities, we have been deprived and denied access to each other. We have not hugged, kissed, smelled or even laid eyes on each other during this nightmare. My detainment is the first time our family hasn’t been together for birthdays. In our household, your birthday is the most important day to be together as a family.”
“The damage caused to our loved ones is due to bad policy,” he continued. “The Covid restrictions have been lifted and we are still denied visitation in person. All we are asking for is computer visitation like the other inmates in the DC jail and jails across the country. Always remember, we are innocent men who haven’t ever been convicted. We are not being held on gun crimes or murder charges. Yet, if we were, chances are we would be afforded bond. At a bare minimum, we would have visitation in person or computer visitation.”
Stager has been “Denied bail, denied his basic human rights, and access to his attorney with the exception of status hearings where he has not been able to speak for himself,” his wife, Samantha Littell, notes on his GiveSendGo, the crowdfunding platform she is using to raise fund to cover her husband’s legal fees.
Unlike the J6 political hostages, inmates facing murder charges are “afforded bond,” Stager notes.
Political hostage Marshal Neefe, a 25-year-old Pennsylvania man, claims he is being denied mental health treatment and a therapist while on suicide prevention in the jail.
Correctional officers are using “Covid as a scapegoat” to”continually place us in solitary lockdowns as a means to combat the virus,” Neefe explains.
“The jail ‘policy’ is you must be vaccinated in order to have in-person visitors. However, on the other side of the jail, inmates have the ability to schedule video visitation at any time they wish. We are constantly denied this opportunity and given excuse after excuse as to why they can’t take one day out of the month to take us to these kiosks to simply SEE our families,” he wrote.
“We’ve dealt with 22-and-a-half-hour lockdowns for months” and are subjected to “conditions found to be inhumane and cruel by the courts to even DEATH ROW INMATES,” he continued. “We were barred from all activity that wasn’t inside our cells. No phones, showers or recreation. I was even threatened with the loss of commissary, my only other source of food from the absolutely deplorable D.C. DOC-provided ‘meals.’ All this to combat a virus that already ravaged our pod previously. On top of lockdowns, if you refused testing for the virus (as is my right and others to do so) you were locked in your cell for 2 weeks as a mandatory quarantine.”
Covid is even used as an excuse to bar J6 defendants from seeing their lawyers.
“On multiple occasions, I have been barred from seeing my attorney,” Neefe wrote. “He’s made attempts to schedule visitation with me, only to be denied and given no reason as to why he could not see his client. As well, my first court appearance was entirely missed due to staff negligence. They were somehow inept of the ability to take me to the first floor for a VIDEO court session, even with it being scheduled months prior.”
