PATHETIC: Chris Wallace Becomes Hollywood Celebrity Interviewer, Loses More Viewers

Chris Wallace’s new show is struggling.

According to Nielsen ratings, Wallace’s new program is only averaging 472,000 viewers.

It gets even worse in the key demographic — where Wallace is only averaging 81,000 viewers.

Wallace’s show was still somehow renewed.

Radar Online reported:

CNN honcho Chris Licht is just keeping the mistakes coming. Both CNN and HBO Max have renewed Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace, despite bringing in below-par ratings for its first season.

RadarOnline.com has learned veterans in the television industry are racking their brains over Licht’s decision to pick up a 10-episode second season of Chris Wallace’s show for the already failing network.

“Why was Chris Wallace renewed?” one industry insider questioned, adding Who’s Talking didn’t even notch 500k viewers.

Season two will begin in January.

Deadline reported:

The second season will feature the same format as the first: New episodes will drop on HBO Max on Fridays, and will be followed two days later with CNN compilation at 7 PM ET on Sundays. The first episode of the new season will debut on HBO Max on Jan. 6, and the CNN show will debut Jan. 8.

Guests slated for the upcoming season include Jessica Alba, Brian Cox, Ina Garten and Hugh Jackman. Among those featured in the first season were former Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, George Clooney, Shania Twain, Tyler Perry, Billy Porter, Pete Buttigieg, Alex Rodriguez, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Quentin Tarantino.
