5 things you may not be able to do from an online betting app

Despite the fact that mobile gambling is becoming more popular and important every single day, some people haven’t tested any apps or mobile websites yet.

Some of them do not like those things, whereas others prefer using the desktop platform because it offers more things.

Speaking of available options, the BetOnline app (by Appmodo) is one of the industry-leading gambling applications people can get on their handheld devices. It looks like other files, but when you review what it offers, you will see it has more things than its competitors.

As much as we want every app to be like BetOnline, the reality is different. Even some of the world’s top-tier mobile operators can’t offer mobile customers the same gambling options as those who bet on desktop devices. So, here are a couple of things that you may not be able to do from an online betting app.

Make a deposit

As strange as it may sound, online gamblers can find a wide range of sports betting operators and online casinos whose applications won’t allow them to make a deposit. Even though they can be on sports or play the casino games they want, the only way to do that with real money is by using the desktop site to make a deposit.

One of the reasons why deposits aren’t always accessible on mobile apps is that operators use third-party regulators to process their payments. Some use newer tech than others and allow the operator to receive payments made from mobile devices. However, others aren’t like that.

An interesting thing to keep in mind about deposits via a mobile app is that some brands will only offer those kinds of options, especially in certain parts of the world. So, it all depends on where you live.

Using live streaming

It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that live streaming is among the sports betting features that everyone like using. Watching sports events in real-time makes the overall experience much more enjoyable, especially for people who want something different. Unfortunately, those fans of live streaming may only have access to this option from their desktop devices.

There are many reasons why mobile betting apps rarely allow players to use this feature, and one of them is mobile data. Despite the perks of watching a live event, it uses a lot of mobile data, which is not something everyone is comfortable with. Since some gamblers may run out of mobile data, operators prefer not to provide those things. Of course, there are always exceptions because the online gambling market size increases, so brands need to offer more things to stay relevant.

Use the customer support department

There is no arguing that the customer support department is among the most underrated things in an online gambling website. Many people do not check it at all when choosing which site to bet on, whereas others only want to make sure it is available 24/7. Although the latter is essential, several other things are important to remember.

If you want to contact the customer support team using an online casino or a bookmaker, you must go to the specific section and follow the rules. Usually, this doesn’t take much time, but it may not be available on a mobile app.

Due to their specifics, applications do not always allow people to use live chats or send emails. However, they can enable them to make a phone call as long as this contact option is available. The bad news is that it usually isn’t, so people must turn on their PCs or laptops if they have a problem.

Usually, mobile apps do not provide any information about things like the affiliate programs

Not many gamblers are interested in affiliate marketing, but those with some experience know this can be a lucrative niche. Sadly, clients who want to learn more about it and check if the operator they’re using offers such a thing will need to use its desktop platform.

Almost no gambling apps provide details about things like the affiliate program. However, there might be some exceptions, so check the app before betting. In rare cases, brands may offer more details about the affiliate network on their mobile site, so check it as well.

Some bonuses

Most world-class casinos and bookmakers offer top-tier bonuses that clients can use on all platforms. However, there are exceptions, so do not be surprised if you come across operators without any mobile perks.

The good news is that most operators realize the importance of providing bonuses to their users. Therefore, you will probably have at least a couple of options to pick from.
