Republican Adam Laxalt joined Tucker Carlson on Thursday night, two days after the election, to discuss his US Senate race from Nevada.
Currently Adam Laxalt is leading the race with 49.4% of the vote to 47.6% of the vote. But Clark County is holding its ballots and has announced that counting will go into next week – because Nevada is a third-world state.
Adam then broke the news that Democrat Cortez-Masto does not have the amount of votes left to be able to catch her Republican opponent.
Adam Laxalt: We feel really, really strongly about where this race is heading. We’ve been in the lead obviously since election night. That lead has shrunk over the last few days. But she does not have the amount of votes left to be able to catch us. She’d have to win by over 63%. And it’s important to note since most of the national media is not covering this, the Las Vegas mail ballots that are being reported include election day dropoff mail. That mail is absolutely not going to break like traditional mail like USPS. Those are election-day voters. And just to give you an example, in Washo County we had more Republicans drop off election day ballots than Democrats. And so, again, as we put out the math for the world, she has to win by over 63% in all of this. And we think these election-day ballots could break even. We could stand to lose them by 15-20 points and we would still hold.
