Joe Biden on Friday signed H.J. Res. 100 to avert a nationwide rail shutdown after Congress intervened in union negotiations.
The Senate-passed bill to avert the rail worker strike did not include seven days of paid sick leave.
After signing the bill, a reporter asked Biden why he isn’t going to Georgia to help Senator Warnock.
Warnock is in a tight race against Republican Herschel Walker for Georgia’s senate seat.
Barack Obama was in Atlanta Thursday night campaigning for Warnock.
However, Joe Biden, who got the most votes for president in US history – more than Barack Obama ever did, has not been invited to stump for Warnock.
Makes sense.
Biden got Senators Warnock and Warren confused.
Then he forgot where he was going today.
“I’m going to Georgia today to help Senator Warren! Not to Georgia, I’m gonna help Senator Warren (unintelligible) then I’m doing a major fundraiser in Boston,” Biden said.
He’s completely shot.
