Charlotte Tilbury Makes History as first female-founded brand by Partnering with F1 Academy

Charlotte Tilbury, the renowned British beauty brand, is making waves in the world of motorsport by becoming the first female-founded brand to sponsor the F1 Academy.

This groundbreaking partnership aims to support female drivers and promote gender diversity in Formula 1.

The F1 Academy, a new initiative by Formula 1 designed to nurture and develop young female drivers, will benefit from Charlotte Tilbury’s support. The beauty brand will shine a spotlight on the academy’s 15 talented young drivers, aged 16-25, showcasing their careers and achievements to raise awareness about opportunities for women in motorsport.

Among the notable drivers is Lola Lovinfosse, who will be driving a distinctive ‘Charlotte Tilbury operated by Rodin’ motorsport car adorned with the brand’s iconic ‘Hot Lip’ emblem and empowerment mantra ‘Makeup Your Destiny!’

Launched in 2023, the F1 Academy provides young female drivers with increased access to track time, racing, and testing, along with technical, physical, and mental support to help them progress to Formula 3 and pursue their F1 dreams.

Charlotte Tilbury, MBE, president, chairman, CCO, and founder of the eponymous brand, expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating her brand’s commitment to empowering individuals and unlocking confidence. She emphasized the importance of supporting the young women breaking barriers in the fast-paced world of Formula 1.

Susie Wolff, MBE, managing director of the F1 Academy, echoed Charlotte Tilbury’s sentiments, highlighting the mission to inspire young women to pursue careers in motorsport. She expressed gratitude for the partnership with Charlotte Tilbury, which aligns closely with the academy’s values and aspirations.

The collaboration between Charlotte Tilbury and the F1 Academy signifies a significant step towards increasing representation and diversity in motorsport. It also reflects the growing trend of crossovers between beauty and Formula 1, demonstrating the potential for innovative partnerships to drive positive change in both industries.
