Ozan Elektronik Para (Ozan Electronic Money) boosted its growth streak for the second year in a row. Türkiye’s rising fintech bid 2023 farewell with x5.5 growth in Ozan SuperApp and x2.5 growth in Ozan business payment services. Their monthly transaction volume increased to 5 Billion TL (174.4 Million USD) in 2023.
Ozan Electronic Money Türkiye gained outstanding growth momentum in 2023 via its innovative financial services and strategic partnerships. Ozan gathered a range of its products/solutions under the Fiji label, Fiji standing for a solution that combines physical and digital aspects of Ozan’s payment services. One notable case was FijiPOS: It enabled businesses that run both in-person and online transactions to consolidate all their payments through virtual and physical POS leading to easier management, seamless operation, and better rates.
Ozan responded fast to economic changes as monetary tightening goes on in Turkey and abroad by launching industry-specific, easy-to-apply solutions branded Fiji that became popular with hotels, travel businesses, auto-sellers, large resellers, etc.
Strategic partnerships played a key role in the fintech’s expansion. They allowed Ozan to reach a broader set of businesses with minimal impact on their marketing and sales operations. One such collaboration took place between Aveon Global Sigorta (Insurance), TESK (Confederation of Turkish Tradespeople and Craftspeople) and Ozan. A key result of the partnership was the digital wallet app with specific features for micro businesses and tradespeople affiliated with TESK. Thousands of TESK members signed onto the app in a matter of months, receiving microloans as well as payment services and insurance.
