Trump Rips Into “Dopey” Paul Ryan — “A Man Who Couldn’t Run For ‘Dog Catcher’”

Paul Ryan predicted that Donald Trump would not be the Republican nominee for President in 2024.

Despite polling that shows Trump far ahead in the 2024 GOP race.

The Daily Caller reported:

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan said Friday that former President Donald Trump will likely lose the Republican presidential primary race in 2024 and, failing that, the general election should he decide to run again.

“Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters,” Ryan stated. “He’s not going to be the nominee, I don’t think.” Ryan made the comments during an appearance with Kevin Kajiwara, CEO of Teneo, the public affairs consulting firm of which Ryan is vice chairman, at their office in Manhattan.

Ryan also accused Trump of using “fear and intimidation” to maintain political influence over the Republican Party, which he predicted would end poorly. “Whenever you try to do that, it ends the way Hemingway talked about bankruptcy,” he said, “it goes along for a while until it [steeply] drops.”

Donald Trump released a statement blasting Paul Ryan — and called him out for trying to stop the construction of the border wall.

Truth Social:

The grossly incompetent former Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, who was an even worse V.P. candidate with RINO Mitt Romney, and a man who couldn’t run for “dog catcher” in the Great State of Wisconsin (he quit), did everything possible to stop the construction of the Southern Border Wall. He was almost as bad as the Dems, but I got it done, including certain additions, anyway. It made a big difference, and is a primary reason we set record lows on illegals pouring in. Dopey Paul was bad news!

Paul Ryan promised to fund the border wall while he was Speaker Of The House — but it was a lie.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported(2018):

In January 2017 Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised to pass funding of $12-15 billion to build the Trump border wall.
But it was all a lie.

Paul Ryan also told Tucker Carlson he would fund the Trump border wall.

It was all a lie.

Paul Ryan has not once including funding for the Trump border wall in any financial package since Trump’s election.
